Cuba and Lebanon Advocate for Strengthening Multilateral Ties
Beirut, Septmber 29, 2026.- Ambassador Jorge P. León Cruz was received by the Director General for Multilateral Affairs of Lebanon’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Mr. Salim Baddoura, and the two held a productive meeting in which they reviewed the excellent state of bilateral and multilateral relations between the two countries.
The Cuban diplomat seized the occasion to highlight the solidarity and support of governments, parliaments, organizations, political forces, and the international community in support of the Cuban people’s struggle against the intensification of the blockade, the energy blockade, and threats of military aggression against Cuba.
The meeting confirmed the mutual willingness to continue coordinating efforts in multilateral fora and international events, and reaffirmed the interest in further deepening the mutually beneficial ties between Cuba and Lebanon.
